My son has been taking from Sara for 3 1/2 yrs. When he first came to her he hated piano. Sara had her work cut out for her. She was very patient with him. Sara never gave up on him. She knew he could do it but he had to realize it was fun. Over time she was able to show him this. She joked with him and put things in a way he could understand. Now, he not only loves piano but he is thriving. He plays the piano beautifully. I like the way she lets him choose pieces he wants to play. I also like that she teaches him theory. She is a great piano teacher and lets him play to his potential. She doesn't hold him back. I would definitely recommend her!

I am an adult piano student taking lessons from Sara Toudouze. She is an absolutely outstanding teacher and pianist who is completely dedicated to her students, regardless of age or ability. She teaches with superior knowledge, enthusiasm, humor, a positive "you can do it" attitude, and a huge amount of patience and understanding, creating a wonderful and exciting musical environment that makes you want to learn. As an adult student returning to lessons after many years, I was apprehensive, but I could not have found a more excellent teacher. I appreciate Ms. Toudouze for helping my kids progress in playing piano. She is firm and yet at the same time nice to students. There are a number of recitals, some of which held at the Tuesday Musical Club, the others at her lovely home. Ms. Toudouze also creates one music CD for each student which she gives out around Christmas.
